Once the team arrived, spirits were high within the team with Haidyn Farmer trying to destroy the opposition changing room & Harry Hellyer bouncing around like the Duracell Bunny.

Before the game started, Jon Farmer began by giving his bunch of merry men a well structured team talk. This went well until the youngsters got distracted by a kid’s football. Farms quickly put a stop to these antics and the mighty 2's were ready to battle.

The game began at blistering pace with both teams looking to grab the game by the scruff of the neck but after finding their feet, Portsmouth started to run away with the game. Wimborne then went to plan B & became very physical but Portsmouth were not fazed and soon took the lead with a beautiful reverse strike from the energetic Hellyer.

Portsmouth then continued their dominance by winning multiple short corners before Jon veck rifled a half volley shot into the back board that to a beautiful assist from Haidyn Farmer.

The 3rd goal of the half then came from another short corner with Farms shot being deflected in by the debutant Craig “Parky” Parkinson capping on a very strong first half & a happy Elliott Ferrett!

The second half was soon upon us and Portsmouth were looking to carry on where they left off. They soon grabbed their 4th goal with super Charlie Boswell applying the finish. It looked like Portsmouth were going to add more to their tally but Wimborne had other ideas and grabbed a goal after a mix up in the D and Farms taking a nap on the floor. The game then remained fairly even with both teams battling for more goal but the game would end a respectable 4-1 to almighty 2's.

MoM: Harry for running the defenders ragged & calling his performance off with a brilliant strike.

DoD: The Ferrett for storming off the pitch after not getting the simple pass but did it with some fantastic sass.
